geometry will not build correctly

Hi community,

I took some drone photos from a white cathedral.
The building has a round geometry. Pix4D mapper can’t build it correctly.

I tried some different fligt routes and merged projects (double grid and oblique). But the result isn’t good.

How can I fix the problem?

(I’m using pix4D mapper 4.6.4)

Hi Josef,
It probably has to do with the very homogeneous nature of the surface. It will difficult to get right but I would suggest increasing your overlap in this area. In addition, you might want to wait until there is better illumination so that the small imperfections are easier to see. Other than that there isn’t too much that can be done.
