Failed to create folders, R0015

Hey y’all, I’ve used pix4d fields for quite a while and went to open the program up today and was met with the R0015 error. I have not changed anything on my computer. is this a bug? I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled pix4d fields and still run into the issue and i go to click ok and the box does not go anywhere. it seems like the while program is bricked but I’m not sure. i appreciate any and all help thanks!

Hi, are you storing the projects locally or using an external drive, or cloud storage? This error happens when PIX4Dfields can’t access the data storage folder.

  • Please ensure that you have access to the storage folder.

  • Did you recently update PIX4Dfields to a newer version?

  • Please share the log files folder in:
    Windows

    1. Replace the following location with the correct User name.

    2. Go to C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Pix4d\Pix4Dfields\Log

    3. Copy the “Log” folder.

    MacOS

    1. Replace the following location with the correct User name.

    2. Go to "/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Pix4d/

    3. Copy the “Log” folder.

I’m the admin on the computer and can read and write to the folder no problem. I updated a while ago but have been able to use the program up until yesterday. im also not using an external drive.
