Dear Pix4D Support Team,
I am working on a project processed with Pix4Dcatch and Pix4Dcloud, and I would like to ask for clarification regarding the export of camera orientation parameters.
From both the Quality Report and the processing log files , it is clear that:
- all images are calibrated (100%),
- camera poses (position and orientation) are estimated through bundle adjustment,
- both internal and external camera parameters are optimized,
- calibrated camera parameters are stored internally during processing (e.g.
cameras_calibrated.p4b, as indicated in the log files).
I would therefore like to know how it is possible to export the camera poses (position and orientation parameters) from a Pix4Dcloud project in a format that can be used externally, for example:
- CSV (camera positions / orientations),
- OPF (Open Photogrammetry Format),
- or any other officially supported export format.
More specifically, I would need:
- camera position (X, Y, Z),
- full camera orientation (omega/phi/kappa, yaw/pitch/roll, or rotation matrix/quaternion),
- association between each image and its corresponding camera parameters.
Could you please clarify:
- whether and where this export is available within the Pix4Dcloud interface;
- whether it is necessary to use Pix4Dmatic or another Pix4D product to access these parameters;
- if there is a recommended workflow to obtain camera pose information from an already processed Pix4Dcloud project.
Thank you very much for your support.
Kind regards,
