Error e0502a: Cannot upload project Eroll Cloud. A file contains special characters

I am trying to upload a project to be processed on the cloud to take advantage of some of the tools offerred. I have a site that was flown with our eBee and it is about 2400 images. After going through and marking my GCP’s and then trying to upload the project to the cloud I get the above error and nothing happens. Please Help!

Thanks for reaching out to Pix4D support. This issue is usually related to special characters in the project directory. Special characters are things that are not usually found in the North American alphabet. Things like accents or other symbols are usually the cause. Can you confirm that the directory for your project and images do not have any of these characters?

I’m having the same problem.

Files are in D:\DSCI\Documents\pix4d\YM
Photos are in D:\DSCI\Documents\pix4d\YM\Photos

It would be great if the error message would say what file it’s having a problem with.
Other projects have worked fine, it’s just this one that won’t upload.

Thanks for reaching out to Pix4D support. This issue is usually related to special characters in the project directory as @Holden_Greene said. Can you try moving the project to the main directory and try uploading once again. If this doesn’t solve the issue, can you create the support ticket?

I tried to upload project file with marking GCPs .The upload got 60% success then I got following message:
Error uploading file with key user-65c08e6d-b490-4750-a957-8eeb323d915c/project-706592/images/dji_9 (510).JPG

What was the problem?

Hi @sbhgurun.g,
Could you share here the log file of the project you tried to upload to Pix4Dcloud?

Mvu_core_area.log (1.1 MB) This is log file.I have screenshot as well.

Hi @sbhgurun.g,

do you have a valid license to upload to Pix4Dcloud? Can you share your license key here? Could you check that you have enough Cloud allowance to upload the project?
In addition, you are trying to upload a project with 3973 images, which might really be pushing the limits of the app.
