Dears, I have got a micasense rededge-M with DLS module, Is it still necessary to use the calibration panel images for the radiometric correction?

You need to use the panel if you want absolute reflectance. It is mentioned in the micasense website: https://support.micasense.comhttps://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001485134-Getting-Started-With-RedEdge-M. You don’t need a panel for Sequoia plus: https://www.pix4d.com/product/sequoia. It has a targetless workflow as it is already factory calibrated.
