Hi, I started my computer creating a DSM and Ortho photo from a project I created from merging an aerial project with an catch project. Its a relatively small urban project (616 photos all up). But it’s been running for seven hours now the processing is sitting at 5% total and 15% for the DSM (12% for the DSM tiles). Does it normally take alot longer when processing this type of data set. As when I created a DSM and Ortho Photo from the drone project (just incase the merged one did not work). My computer spat it out in 10 mins.
Got into work this morning and the DSM & Ortho had been generated. It had taken 10 hours Vs 10min with just Drone Data. Also the Ortho Generated was no good. Lots of artifacts and some tiles did not generate (there is a big hole in the photo). Also the file size is massive. 13gb Vs 142mb for the Ortho generated from just the Drone images.
