Create annotation groups to organize annotation layers better

PIX4Dcloud has implemented a functionality to create groups of annotations to better organize annotations.

In the gifs below, you can see how it works:

There is a project that contains four annotation layers; snow area 1, snow area 2, Industrial sites and small houses. Each of them contain several annotations.

With the new group feature, the annotation layers can be grouped to better organize and better display the information in the hierarchy:

  • A group named Snow is created to gather the two annotation layers snow area 1 and snow area 2
  • A group named Buildings is created to gather the two annotation layers Industrial sites and Small Houses

The groups can contain several annotation layers and they can be moved from one group to another. As seen below the annotation layer Snow area 1 can be moved from group Snow to group Buildings and viceversa.

Is there a way to lock annotations so they cant be deleted by another user?

Currently, there is no way to do we it comes to annotations.
However, if you use the overlay functionality you will be able to import information in DXF, PDF, JPG and PNG that will not be editable by anyone.
Maybe that suggestion can help you.
