Cloud Processing after Georeferencing..

I’ve been doing most of my processing in Pix4D Desktop, but I wanted to try to use the cloud.  My workflow has been to do the initial processing in Desktop, then include the 3D GCPs.  Then I re-optimize and finally I upload the project for processing to the cloud through desktop.  It always then fails after about 10-20 minutes.  When I upload the images directly to the cloud (without doing the desktop first) and without the GCPs it works and processes correctly.  Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing the processing exceptions when I include the GCPs?

Hi George,

Do you get any error message from Pix4D Desktop when it fails to upload?

Could you please provide us (upload to our Dropbox) so that we can investigate in details:

  • The quality report: …\Project_name\1_initial\report\Project_name_report.pdf
  • The project log file: …\Project_name\Project_name.txt
  • The project file (.p4d): …\Project_name.pd4

Cheers,

Was this ever resolved?  I would be interested in this workflow as well.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can check this article that describes the recommended workflow to include GCPs before processing on the cloud:
