Change in grid cell size for satellite data

Hello everyone,

I remember there used to be an option in the Magic Tool of Pix4Dfields to select a grid cell size of 5 meters when working with satellite data. However, now I see that the minimum grid cell size available is 125 meters.

Has there been a recent update or change in the software that explains this? Is there a way to revert to the 5-meter grid option?

I would appreciate any insights or guidance on how to resolve this or if anyone else has encountered the same issue.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

It seems you are confused, it was never possible to create a 5mts grid out of a satellite image.
I can’t confirm when this will be possible either.

Best

Hi Jose,

Thank you for your response! I might have been dreaming in any other case, but I actually do have a video that demonstrates me creating a 5m grid from a satellite image…
In any case, thanks!

Maybe you created a 5mts Targeted Operation grid, that can be done

Haha, that’s exactly what happened! I must’ve been thinking of the wrong term, but a 5m Targeted Operation grid is what I created. Glad we’re on the same page now! I guess this thread just turned from troubleshooting to a feature request…
Cheers

Hi Iva,

It makes sense, its in the roadmap but can’t confirm when will be released.
