best camera for mining mapping

Hello, I am geting a new camera to get better results at mining mapping…

I am thinking on geting a canon SL1 with the GPS devise for gotaggind…

my other option is a sony Nex5 or 7… the only problema is that with the sonys I have to obtain the flight log everytime and match the images…

but I will definitly want to go with the one that gives better results…
