Another request for 3D Connexion Space Mouse support! We’re approaching 6 years since the original request. Any updates?
Please add support!
Anything but crickets from the dev team on this ?
Yes please. Pix4d Mapper development seems to have gone by the wayside a bit, with more development being put into other products to get more money out of us…
Hi everyone,
As a fellow fan of the 3D Connexion Space Mouse, I agree, it would be great to have. We’re keeping track of your requests, but haven’t reached the point of deciding to do it yet. We’ll keep you posted if we start work on it!
thanks,
Nate
Is the 3DConnexion SpaceNavigator supported yet? This is a must for this type of work. Its now 2021, it been a long time.
Hi @Nate_Moore,
support of 3D-Mice is a musthave in 3D-environments today! After six years its time to improve the UI, isn’t it?

+1 3Dconnexion device support
+1 for 3DConnexion support…
Any update on this?
3DConnexion is the way to go with raycloud navigation.
How about support in Survey and/or Matic?
Hi
Any update on this?
I’m a newbie in Pix4D community.
As I’m configuring my workstation, I have some question about ergonomy and efficiency with pointcloud navigation.
Is there any change with 3DConnexion status ? Is it possible to work with such a mouse (SpaceNavigator or SpaceMouse)
I can’t stand working with a basic mouse !!!
Thanks
+1 vote for 3D mouse.
Almost 8 years.
As I transition from field to office, my company just built me a mac-daddy PC loaded with Pix4D, Global Mapper, and Virtual Surveyor and I just purchased a 3D mouse (spacemouse pro) knowing that 3D drafting, whether it be photogrammetry or lidar data processing…, is THE future! Totally expecting full functionality within these softwares.
In eight years, this request has not been taken seriously?!
Is this some kind of infinite April Fool’s Day prank?!
another +1 vote for Spacemouse - I cannot believe that such a fundamental navigation aid has been overlooked for so long! I’ve just purchased a Spacemouse Pro assuming that it would just work and then I come across this thread…
