Do you know a solution which is good for an accurate tree crown segmentation (smaller and bigger crowns, too) from an orthomosaic (RGB or multispectral)?
Hello,
You might want to try PIX4Dfields and use what we call the Magic tool. It is a machine learning algorithm that can identify objects in an orthomosiac. Otherwise, you might want to try some GIS tools in ArcGIS.
We tried it. Unfortunately, Magic tool can’t recognize the individual tree crowns in a dense forest.
Well, I am glad you tried it. I think you will need to look at some third-party GIS tools to accomplish this.
