Pix4dMapper/Pix4dMatic as a third-party software to check other people’s works

Hi all,

is to possible to use Pix4dMapper/Pix4dMatic as a third-party software to check other people’s works?

ex, someone captured an area, and I was asked to check the position accuracy of their work to ensure if it is correct.

I know it is possible with heck points to evaluate the position of the reconstruction, but the question is as third party, what is the process of performing the evaluation using the check points? do I need all images from the third-party project ? or I need only the Orthomosaic ?

does anyone have any idea? or a workaround?

What kind of data are you trying to perform a quality assessment on? Is this another photogrammetry project from Mapper or Matic?

Our solutions are not designed as a third-party quality check. With that said, you could import an external point cloud into Matic and see how it aligns with the outputs from Matic. But it is not designed for a QA tool. You might want to look at some GIS software for this functionality.
