Here is my submission for the contest. Thank you for setting this challenge, I quite enjoyed the process. This was my first time using the cloud for processing, and it behaved a little differently than I am accustomed to, however I can see that it will be very useful in the future.
My idea was a souvenir, but with the glass in front of it I could not get good results. that’s why I decided to model one of my many 1:43 scale collection cars.
I have not been able to upload it to the cloud, so I processed in desktop discovery version.
Hello Pix4D and everyone.
My wife colored and decorated this small pumpkin for Halloween this year for my 3 year old’s enjoyment and I thought that using Pix4d would be a great way to record it.
Please see the model below. Thank you and good luck everyone !
Images were captured with a Samsung Note 8.
Hi pix4d I am wondering if there is a way to specify a “starting view position” on the online 3d modeler viewer.
currently if you clock the link of my project you are starting inside the pumking and have to zoom out a bit before you can see it. lol.
Here is an updated edit of my model, processed with Pix4D desktop and with a lot of work on calibrating new pictures manually, cleaning the pointcloud and drawing some surfaces. Of course it’s not in the rules for the challenge, but I wanted to share the final result of this work!
I want to personally thank everyone who participated, it is awesome to see so much enthusiasm and modeling skills. Looking forward to the next challenge!
@Adam: The objects that were too large were not considered in the final pool of submissions. I liked your idea of adding a scale in the model itself to make sure of the size, we can add this as a condition if we do a similar challenge in the future.
