Hoping to get some feedback from others who have taken the online course.
The main question I have, does the course cover how to read and understand the data being created on pix4d fields.
Is the course on just ‘How to …’ videos or does it go in depth about why we are doing, what we are looking for and how to understand the data.
I’m fine with the drone part, taking images and uploading.

Thanks for your question. The PIX4Dfields Essentials online course is focused primarily on the software, though there is a fairly extensive introduction to remote sensing, radiometric corrections, and vegetation index analysis (including a more detailed look at NDVI and NDRE indices and what they can be used for) before focusing on the software. The course includes several use cases that allow you to gain practical experience working with the software.
Since the focus is on PIX4Dfields and its capabilities, this is not an in-depth agronomy course discussing what each index can be used for and its limitations. We are primarily focused on establishing the knowledge necessary for working with the software and on how to work with PIX4Dfields to get high-quality deliverables and exports.
