Thank you for the opportunity to resolve my issues!
UAV: DJI Phantom 4
Mobile App: Pix4D Capture
Desktop App: Pix4D Trial
I have done my first flight starting from a top of a hill and mapped the hill down the slope and everything was perfect. The drone was previously calibrated, had an average of 19 satellites, no warnings whatsoever.
I started to edit the images in order to get the 3D model of the area but the main purpose was to acquire the orthomosaic.
After the “Initial Processing” the quality report came and in the Quality check section there were two erros: 1. Georeferencing no 3d GCP (which I totally understand, I had none for this project but the other one was 2. the Camera Optimization which states that “98.62% relative difference between initial and optimized internal camera parameters”.
The resulted 3d model is flat, no morphological aspects of the terrain are displayed, just a flat display of the Tie Points.
I have selected the recommended camera for the project, DJI phantom 4, from what I read over the web should be FC330_3.6_4000x3000 (RGB).
Pix4DCapture has no option for altitude type AMSL (above median sea level) or AGL (above ground level). If my P4 flew AGL then my results should be flat, rigt?
Is there a solution to my problem?
Thank you in advance!
