How exactly can i get a True Orthomoasic?

Hello everyone,

I work at a drone photogrammetry and remote sensing company, and I’m frequently encountering issues such as low-quality DSMs and DTMs, as well as distortions around building edges.

Could someone explain the proper workflow for generating a true orthoimage, considering that each ortho needs to cover an area of 30–50 km²? we are using dji m300rtk with GCPS spread through the area.

Hi ferasqr,

It is a bit challenging to describe the entire workflow in one of these postings. But since you are experiencing issues with the DSM/DTM, I would first look at your overlap settings. You will likely need to be in the 70-80% range to ensure consistently good results. For now, if you’d like to attach your PDF quality report, we can review it and see what might be causing the issue.
