Generating Contours from ground level point group only

I’m playing around with the trial version to see if it will fit into my workflow. I have an architect who wants to be able to use drone photography to create contours to quickly model up designs prior to having a full ground survey done. I’ve produced a very reasonable pointcloud and split the point groups into relevant components and then removed the groups I don’t need (building, tress, etc…) leaving only the ground.

My problem is I can’t get the software to just reprocess step three, I have to go through the whole process again which then regenerates the whole scene so I’m back where I started.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

Step 3 can be processed independently of step 2. Is step 3 disabled in your case? Could you please send us a screenshot of your interface?
You need to unselect step 1 and 2 and select step 3:
