When I am selecting the GCP’s in an image, most of the times it is a checkerboard target, so it is easy to select the point. On almost every project I use things like sewer or drain manholes as check points. I think a great feature would be the ability to select a GCP using shape tools. Allow me to make a circle and line up the outer edge of a manhole. Once it is aligned, the center point would be determined and used. This seems like a much better way to select the point instead of me trying to pinpoint the center in each image. The same could be done with squares and rectangles.
