The draping feature is great, but some times it’s hard to make it achieve desired results.
For example, some times it will return a poly with some sections highly detailed and some other with no points for dozens of meters.
I undestand that in those with few or no points is an outcome from the regular point cloud in the area. BUT for TIN purposes, the triangulation in those regions require some points. Nowadays, we have to manualy add those points to the geometry.
My request is to add a Drape By Interval Feature where I set a length, for example every 5 meters, and Survey will add to the poly one vertex at each interval at the point cloud elevention.
Easy, bur with a lot of impact.
