Autel EVO II V3 640T Thermal

I’m completely new to flying thermal drones, but not new to thermal cameras. Also, I’m completely new to processing ortho thermal images and naively thought it would be easy. Pix4Dmapper is overwhelming with terms that are apparently common within this industry. I bought an Autel Evo II VS 640T Dual and ran a mission last night and it appears to be a complete disaster based on what the Quality Reports are showing. The Dataset and Camera Optimization sections are a both red "!"s.

My only use for the drone and mapper is to complete roof inspections.

So I have a couple of questions…

  1. Is there a comprehensive course for only thermal processing? Hopefully in video format. Maybe a YT video?
  2. Or, is there someone or some place I can go to to hire to process the images and complete a screen recording? Or without the screen recording?

This drone camera outputs several file types: .irg, .jpg and .TIFF. I’ve attempted to upload all 3 files types in one upload, I’ve attempted the .jpg only, I’ve attempted the .TIFF only…all with disastrous results, so I’ve come to determine I have no idea what I’m doing.

Can someone guide me in the right direction? I’m not looking for a handout, I would be happy to pay for a “mentor”.

Thanks

EDIT: I’m willing to add the Quality Reports I have, but I don’t see a button to download the report within the app. On the actual Report in the upper lefthand corner, the PDF button is not highlighted and not clickable.

Another EDIT to provide a more appropriate thread title.

I think I need to start training from the beginning. I located the In-Depth course. I have a question regarding it. As mentioned in the above post, I only have one interest and use for mapper - 2D thermal image maps for roofing inspections. I just need to stitch thermal images for roof tops. Can someone that’s taken the In-Depth course give me an idea if this is the right course for me?

Thanks

I attempted to load only the .TIFF file. The Autel EVO II V3 is listed as a supported camera.

Mapper is stating “Not all camera parameters have been detected…”
Below is a screenshot:

Hello,
There is no comprehensive course on thermal processing provided by Pix4D. However, there is a support article which might be helpful for you. Processing thermal images

The error message you are getting is because some of the information about the camera are mission on the metadata of the images.
