I process large multiband datasets and every day (especially nights) of my life I despair that there is no way to pause processing.
We have frequent power blackouts, so I have to be on standby to start the generator at night before the UPS goes flat. It would be wonderful to be able to safely pause an operation to get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Good reasons why a pause function would be helpful have been cited, above. I accept that incorporating such a feature would be complicated, but it would be greatly appreciated!
