I’m having problems with water. As you can see from the screenshots it causes lots of static to my models. Any way to reduce that without affecting rest of the model too much?

It is hard for me to say how much it would help you in this particular project, but you could annotate the images as per instruction here. Have you ever tried it in any of your projects?
