Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Pix4D outputs (mainly 3D flyovers and terrain visualizations) as part of a video workflow, combining them with recorded footage in CapCut pc for simulation-style content.
What I’m noticing is that while Pix4D renders look great on their own, the final edited video sometimes feels slightly less continuous when mixing Pix4D exports with real footage—especially around transitions and motion flow after re-encoding.
I’m trying to figure out:
-
Best export settings from Pix4D (FPS, render type, motion speed) for video editing pipelines
-
Whether pre-rendered animations or real-time navigation captures work better
-
Any tips to maintain smoother visual continuity between photogrammetry outputs and standard video clips
Nothing too complex—just trying to keep the final result feeling natural and consistent.
Would appreciate any advice from others who’ve integrated Pix4D into video production workflows.
