Check point accuracy

Hello, I want to know if the control points in the Pix4Dmapper software can be accurately marked horizontally and vertically, or we can just input the coordinates.
In 3D control points it is possible, and I want to know if it is also possible in control points.
Regards, and thank you very much.

Hi @javi8fdez,

I am not sure I understand fully your question.
Are you asking if you should mark the checkpoints the way 3D GCPs (Ground Control Points) are marked?
If this is what you are looking for, then the answer is that you should mark the checkpoints the way you mark the GCPs in PIX4Dmapper. Here are two articles you might find useful:

I hope this helps.

Best,

Thank you very much for answering, come quickly Nikoleta. My question is: Can I mark horizontal and vertical precision at the control points? Or is it only possible to do it at the support points? I attach an image to make the question easier. Regards, and thank you very much.

Hello,

I will be happy to help.

When it comes to checkpoints you cannot select the Horizontal and Vertical Accuracy because you are using this point to check the accuracy of the reconstructed model and the error of the checkpoint is displayed in the quality report and also I have highlighted the error of this checkpoint in the image below. You can set the Horizontal and Vertical Accuracy for 3D GCPs but not for the checkpoints.

I hope I answered your question.

Best,

Problem solved.
Thank you very much Nikoleta for the speed and resolution.
A ten for you

Thanks a lot Javier.
I am glad your issue is resolved and that I was able to help!
It is really nice to hear kind words!
