How can I export the 3D textured mesh to open and visualize (in 3D) in Google Earth? I have generated KML files, but these do not allow me to visualize the object in 3D.

You don’t need to.
Request your dense Pointcloud and your 3D Mesh within Mapper,
go to your Project Folder -> look for “2_densification” -> “3d_mesh” -> you will find an “projectname_simplified_mesh.obj” File
