Wobbly Telephone Lines

I’m finding that the telephone lines in my maps are looking very jagged and wobbly.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Linear objects running parallel the flight path or direction of travel, themselves running parallel to other similar looking objects with uniform color and contrast… tricky to model well. Lots of extra sidelap and optimal lighting might help along with a more angular approach to those objects. Hard shadows could make things worse.
