# Vertical datum

I was wondering which vertical option I should choose when my control points are in NAD83 state plane and in ellipsoidal height and would like the output vertical in a geoid 03?

Please note that it is not possible to use local geoids in Pix4Dmapper. You can find more information about this and some workarounds on this page:

You can also try Pix4Dmatic, our new product for photogrammetry on large-scale projects. This product supports the use of local geoids.
