Any chance a single use license will be available for Pix4Dmapper Pro so that someone could just do a single project on the cloud without paying for a full month or year use fee?

For the time being, you can use the Discovery version for free and then go for the monthly rental. The Discovery version is an out-of-charge version with some output limitations. For more information: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/202559479
For now, we do not provide cloud-pay-per-use solutions.
