# Project Merging in Pix4Dmatic

I have two projects I am wanting to merge in Matic, one was in CapturePro and the other in Catch. I have 3 common GCP tie points. The aerial project has 541 images with an average GSD of 0.3cm and a Mean GCP RMS error of 0.005m (this is flagged green). The Catch project has 1095 images with an average GSD of 0.2cm and a Mean GCP RMS error of 0.005m (this is flagged red). When I run the Merge projects Wizard, it lets me complete step 1-3, but when I click the Merge button, nothing happens. No error, no message, and no new project. I’m not sure if it is because of the Mean GCP RMS error, and if it is, I don’t know how to fix this error.

Hi @twester
Which version of PIX4Dmatic have you installed? There was an issue with version 1.72, which should be fixed in 1.73. Just checking that you’re not facing this.

After installing 1.73, the two projects are merging as expected.
