I keep getting multiple camera modes in the image property editor, this was during a single mapping mission with a DJI Inspire 2, continuous on a single set of batteries. Manual focus to infinity @ 5.6 aperture.

I am also having trouble with high relative difference between initial and optimized internal camera parameters. maybe the 2 problems are related?

Help please!

Hi Will,

Could it be that the images are stored in different folders?

We see that the camera parameters are taken from the image EXIF (camera icon). We recommend to use the optimized parameters that are stored in our database for the X5S camera (code FC6520). For more information about to change this:

The X5S camera was used with a rolling shutter, it can be an issue for the reconstruction depending on the flight conditions and the area that is mapped. To mitigate the effect, we suggest to apply a specific algorithm especially for flights with a regular pattern (lines). To learn more about this issue and apply the correction algorithm please see:

We expect that this fixes the problem of the camera optimization warning.

Julie,

Thank you for the information, I will try your suggestions and let you know my results. Also it was my understanding that the X5s had a mechanical shutter?

Thanks for the response,

Hi Will,

You are correct, the X5S has both a global and rolling shutter. Sorry for the mistake earlier. I have updated my comment so that other users do not get confused :).

Depending on which option was selected for the shutter (in DJI GO 4), you can apply the linear rolling shutter correction (LRS) accordingly. If the images were captured with the global shutter, we would first recommend to use the camera model that is our database. We believe this will reduce the small camera optimization error.

Please let us know how it goes.

hi will,

we must take some initiation of drone capturing process. in that we must mentain unique distance of tile points both frontal and side by side , then only we get proper camera optimization (it mean near to 0%).
