We have DJi Phantom 4 PRO v.2 and we use Px4d capture for 3d model creation.
Now we have big following issue:
After we connect to Dron, load the Mission up and press the 3 second start - Dron takes off up until 2 meters height and stays there!
The app does show any error messages, it keeps saying that “Taking off…”
We have tested this with more Tablets, but same results, we have done all updates and calibration of the Dron again, but no help.
All tablets we have used are Android.
Any idea why this could happen?
The behavior you are describing can’t be replicated on our side and has not been reported to us so far. I would suggest you go through all the basic checks and troubleshooting steps as it will solve most of the issues that can be encountered if properly followed.
In case the issue is not solved, I would also recommend you to go through our support article on Which image acquisition app can I use with Pix4D’s software?.
A few days ago my university bought a P4P + V2.0, with which I was going to carry out a mapping, but I can’t connect the drone to the Pix4D capture app, I followed different tutorials and with none I could do it … Question? This drone and the Pix4D capture app are not compatible yet ???
The DJI P4P + V2.0 is not supported by pix4Dcapture at the moment and it is currently not in our pipeline to support it in 2020. If things change, we will publish it at our page on Supported drones, cameras, and controllers.
Just purchased a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus v 2.0. I guess this model is not supported yet, I tried every guide i found but CTRL+DJI doesn’t connect with the drone.
The inability to connect to P4P2 has gone on for many months after the SDK was released according to this thread. Many P4P users are at the point where it is time to upgrade. That would be thousands of pilots.
You should change your marketing to mention you are not compatible.
You lost me as a customer due to the blatant oversight of this issue. Since I have to spend time training on a different system I doubt I will return.
Sad you can’t communicate the status of this issue here in this thread.
