# Importing shape files but won't save in cloud?

hi All,  
Trying to import shape files with both DBF and SHP files. Imports in and a few seconds later I get this error “Could not save the project state. Saving is disabled for this session.” Hope you can help? Thanks in advance

Hi Laurent,

As I mentioned before, this message appears when you are trying to make changes in a project where you are not the owner. You must use a share link from the owner to be able to perform changes on this project (upload annotations, create annotations, perform measurements, etc).
