# I can't put manual tie point

Hello. I’m having troubles with the manual tie point I want to put to increase the accuracy of my project. I can’t select the “New&nbsp;tie point” button, it’s grayed. Can you help me please? Thank you.

Hi Thierry,

If when you are attempting to add a new manual tie point (MTP) you get the same screen as in the image below then what you have to click in the rayCloud on the model close to the location &nbsp;where you want to create the MTP.

Note that it is not possible to add MTPs while the software is processing.
