# Don't have the third step (DSM)

hallo, how you doing, I install my pixel4d software today but the third step (DSM) OF my application is not active, so can you assist on that please?

Welcome to the Pix4D Community 🙂.

From the description provided, it seems that you are using a _Discovery_ version of the software. This is a version with limited functions. For more information: [PIX4Ddiscovery / Discovery mode](https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/202559479-Pix4Ddiscovery-Discovery-mode?source=search).

Please follow the following directions to get full access to PIX4Dmapper software:

1. Open PIX4Dmapper on your desktop.
2. If you are automatically logged into PIX4Ddiscovery, please log out following the directions [here](https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/208469726-How-to-log-out-Pix4D-Desktop).
3. Log into the software following the directions [here](https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/207948656-How-to-log-in-to-Pix4D-Desktop).
4. On the welcome screen, select your trial license, and select ‘OK’
5. This should open PIX4Dmapper using your valid license.

At this point, you should be able to re-run the project with the desired processing options.
