# Does Pix4D work on Mac?

I’ve trying to select software for GIS mapping. But only have a Mac at the moment. Will Pix4D work on Mac?

You can find detailed information at [Beta macOS version of Pix4Dmapper 3.0](https://community.pix4d.com/t/beta-macos-version-of-pix4dmapper-3-0/5672).

Alternatively, Pix4Dmapper can be installed on Windows using Bootcamp. Mac Systems using parallel are not supported, as they use a virtual Operating System which may give problems with the display of the rayCloud and may fail processing.
