Hey, I am looking for a way to export a point cloud and import it into CloudCompare so I can convert it into a mesh, clean it and export it to a finite element model. Any advice?

hi @james.burroughes, Welcome to Pix4D Community!

It is possible to generate the mesh directly on PIX4Dmapper without third-party software.
In the following article, explain the processing options and the export format file available are the following article: [Menu Process \> Processing Options… \> 2. Point Cloud and Mesh \> Point Cloud](https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/202557799-Menu-Process-Processing-Options-2-Point-Cloud-and-Mesh-Point-Cloud)

This is another article about how visualizing the 3D texture mesh with georeferencing can be useful. [Here](https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/204606535-How-to-visualize-the-3D-textured-mesh-with-georeference)

I hope this information was useful for you.

Have a very nice day!

Best regards
