# Calculate areas on ArcGis from indexes generated on Pix4D Mapper

Hi Pix4D,&nbsp;

I generate some index maps (NDVI, NDRE) on Pix4D mapper and I&nbsp;have export it to work later on ArgGis.

So on ArcGis,&nbsp;I add the index map and classify it into 5 intervals with 5 different colors each.

My question&nbsp;is: Can I calculate the 5 different areas from the 5 intervals on ArcGIS?

Hi,&nbsp;  
You should be able to calculate the area on the basis of the intervals/class using ArcGIS. You need to use a geoprocessing tool to go from raster to a polygon to calculate the area.
