Good Monday everyone!

In this project, OVRMAP used Pix4Dmapper to transform a 4K video into an interactive 3D model:

This is the story of the project:

“_We created this project to test the process of turning 4K video frames into a 3D model._

_We choose Pix4D because it allows us to combine offline, manual control with online delivery. Adding MTPs and surfaces, along with image masking and point cloud editing, mean that we’re able to deliver the highest quality 3D models, even when the images may not have been perfectly captured._

[_OVRMAP_](https://www.ovrmap.co.uk) _provide photogrammetric image processing services to drone pilots and companies, allowing operators to focus on flying more jobs while we assist with the best methods of data capture and generate 2D, 2.5D and 3D outputs._” OVRMAP Team.

**Technical details:**

- Image capture path: Circular flights

- Number of images: Approximately 200 images (4K video frames)

- Processing platform: Pix4Dmapper on a desktop PC.

- Editing tools: Processing area and orientation constraints
