Pix4dcapture crashing on samsung tablet s2 with android 7.0

Hi,

Recently,  the new update of pix4dcapture don’t work anymore with my dji phantom 4.0. I start ctr + dji which can see the phantom but the pix4dcapture can’t be open because it crashes all times.

Any help would be very apreciable.

Gil

Hi Gil,

It could happen that something was wrong with the installation and we would recommend you to do a clean reinstall as described here:

  1. Uninstall Pix4Dcapture and Ctrl+DJI
  2. Navigate to Local Storage > Device storage > Pix4D
  3. Delete all of the folder’s contents (If you would like to save a mission to use it again in the future, please move the mission folder to a new directory instead).
  4. Delete the Pix4D folder
  5. Reinstall the latest version of Pix4Dcapture and Ctrl+DJI
  6. Launch Pix4Dcapture and log in
  7. Optional: force stop Pix4Dcapture and place the mission folders that you saved in a different location back into the Pix4D folder. Relaunch Pix4Dcapture to verify that the missions are available.

In case you will face some issues connecting the remote controller to your Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 using the USB cable we also recommend trying out this instruction. Let us know if it solves the problem.

Best,
